Calls for projects & artistic and cultural education pathways

The class, the work!

Created in 2013, by the French Ministries of Culture and Education, "La classe, l'œuvre!" is an artistic and cultural education operation linked to the European Museum Night. It is part of the child's artistic and cultural education pathway, and aims to enhance the value of heritage collections for students and teachers.

"La classe, l'œuvre!" at the Musée d'arts de Nantes

As part of this program, the Musée d'arts de Nantes is inviting secondary school classes to study a work exhibited at the museum during the school year, devise productions related to the work, and design a mediation program for European Museum Night in May 2026.

Would you like to take part with your class? Complete the project application form New window before September 19, 2025!

Around the exhibition Sous la pluie. Painting, living and dreaming

EAC course in partnership with the Nantes Archives

The Musée d'arts and the Archives de Nantes join forces around an original, cross-disciplinary subject: rain. The exhibition Sous la pluie. Peindre, vivre et rêver au musée explores the history of the sensibility and representation of rain that developed throughout the 19th century. This theme is an opportunity to question the historical collection of the Archives de Nantes on meteorological data, city planning, environmental risk management...

The project is aimed at middle and high school classes and will take place in several stages during the 2025-2026 school year.
Thecall for applications is closed, but you can find out more about this route here:
