Opening hours

Every day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., except Tuesday,
Open until 9 p.m. on Thursday.

Closed on January1, May1 , November1 and December 25.

To reduce your on-site waiting time, we advise you to visit us during low-traffic times: from 11am to 2pm and after 4:30pm.

Last admission 30 minutes before museum closes.
Evacuation of exhibition rooms 15 minutes before closing time.

The Musée d'arts de Nantes, which has been awarded the "Accueil vélo"label, provides its visitors with a repair kit (pump, standard inner tube, universal keys) available free of charge on request from the museum reception desk.

The Musée d'arts de Nantes is on the itineraries of La Vélodyssée, La Loire à vélo and La Vélidéale.

Access to the museum's interior is via an external elevator located in front of the museum on rue Georges-Clemenceau.

The entire museum is accessible to people with reduced mobility and motor skills.

A range of facilities and equipment give everyone easy access to the works of art:

  • seating is available throughout the museum,
  • manual wheelchairs and cane seats are available on loan from the ticket office.

Buy an admission ticket, book a guided tour, workshop or event on our online ticketing service.

Workshops, guided tours, activities and events are planned on a quarterly basis. No reservations are taken over the phone.

Museum pass

€15 = unlimited access to 4 museums for one year

Unlimited access to metropolitan museums for 1 year: Nantes Museum of Art, Jules Verne Museum, Le Chronographe, Château des Ducs de Bretagne.

Temporary room closures

The life of the museum is punctuated by the movement of works and the programming of events. As a result, access to exhibition rooms and works may be temporarily restricted.

Cube levels 1 and 2

Until August 23, 2025, Level 1 of the Cube is closed for hang-up, while Level 2 of the Cube will reopen at the end of November 2025.
