
The Musée d'arts de Nantes showcases nine centuries of Western art history, from the Middle Ages to the present day. Its collections total over 14,000 works, almost half of them in modern and contemporary art. Around 900 pieces are on display, and the collections are regularly redesigned to provide visitors with a unique and ever-changing experience. A place of discovery, the Musée d'arts de Nantes is open to a wide range of disciplines: dance, theater, concerts... the museum is trans-disciplinary and accessible to all. Every Thursday evening, the museum is open free of charge until 9pm. These nocturnes regularly feature a singular program, allowing visitors to let themselves be surprised.
A museum in motion, it's also the perfect place for a stroll, lunch at the café or on the summer terrace. You can also come and browse in the museum's boutique-library.
