Are you a healthcare worker in a facility that cares for people with disorders?

The museum has designed a range of tours adapted to groups with disabilities. A museum mediator can welcome you free of charge for a guided tour.

The collections and temporary exhibitions can also be visited independently.

Practical information

  • Opening hours: daily (except Tuesdays and 1st Sunday of the month) from 11.15 a.m.
    Last tour departs at 5 p.m.
  • Admission: museum entrance and guided tour free for disabled and medical/social groups.
  • Tour duration: 1h to 1h30
  • Groups: maximum 12 people, including accompanying adults.

Guided tours

Adapted visits for people with mental health problems

Guided tours adapted for people with mental health problems are available all year round on request.

Duration : 1 hour for a maximum of 12 people, including accompanying adults.

The themes can be chosen from therange of tours for adult groups: permanent collections or temporary exhibitions.

Sensory tours

With tactile relief reproductions

Adapted in particular for blind and partially-sighted people, and those with cognitive, neurodevelopmental or psychological disorders.

Duration: 1h or 1h30 - 10 people maximum, including accompanying adults.

Discover a selection of paintings from the museum's collections, thanks to tactile relief boards. They can be complemented by sensory tools: sounds, smells, objects to handle.

Women in art

Ah, women! Whether maternal, pious, strong or fashion icons, they fascinate! Guided by a mediator, you'll be able to perceive and understand the evolution of the representation of women in art.

Tables and food

From religious meal scenes to everyday reality, everything to do with the table never ceases to inspire artists. Guided by a mediator, come and immerse yourself in the different atmospheres represented.

Duration: 1 hour for a maximum of 10 people, including accompanying adults.

In the museum's 18th-century collection, experience a wide range of emotions as you discover paintings of landscapes, fêtes galantes, genre scenes and portraits.

A drop of water in the sea

Sail the waters of the 19th century! By observing different ways of painting water, and with the help of smells and sounds, discover 4 paintings, from academicism to neo-impressionism.

The shapes of a city

From the 19th to the 21st century, artists have imagined cities of all shapes and sizes, each with its own ambience. Come and experience their characteristic smells and sounds, and observe their modernist and utopian architectural principles.

Duration : 1h30 for a maximum of 12 people, including accompanying adults.

Through detailed descriptions, a mediator helps you discover the museum's collections and temporary exhibitions.

These adapted tours can include dedicated mediation tools, such as high-contrast reproductions of works, textile samples and sounds.
