Nantes, November 8, 2025, 3 p.m.
To kick off the exhibition Sous la pluie, peindre, vivre et rêver, writer Mathieu Simonet invites you to a "rendez-vous sous la pluie" on Saturday November 8 at 3pm.
The principle is simple: 100 volunteers will meet up with a stranger at different locations around Nantes. Each pair will be invited to walk to the museum under an umbrella (rain or shine).

Schedule for November 8, 2025:
- 2:30 pm: meet an unknown person (an umbrella will be provided)
- 3 p.m.: All pairs open their umbrellas at the same time and start walking towards the museum.
- On arrival at the museum, you'll be given a ticket to visit the exhibition
Within 24 hours, everyone will be invited to write down their impressions of the experience. All these texts will be the starting point for an article written by the writer a few days later.
