- On Sundays, September to June, for 1 or 2 adults accompanying a child up to 18 yeard old.

Visitors aged under 18 - jobseekers (registered at the Maison de l'emploi job centre) - visitors on RSA income support (with proof of entitlement from the CAF) - recipients of the ASPA solidarity grant for the elderly - visitors with disabilities and one carer - holders of the Musée d’arts de Nantes PASS, Inter-musées PASS, holders of the "Carte Blanche" - Ministry of Culture staff - Musées de France scientific staff - journalists - holders of passports for tourism professionals issued by the Loire-Atlantique UDOTSI (Departmental Union of Tourist Offices) - ICOM (International Council of Museums) cardholders - representatives from France or abroad working in the political, cultural or scientific fields for special projects on behalf of third sector organisations with a letter of invitation from an elected representative for culture.
Free admission for all visitors
- On the first Sunday of every month from September to June.
- On Thursday late-night opening from 7pm to 9pm.
- National heritage ("Journées européennes du patrimoine") open days.
- On "La Nuit des musées" museum night.
- On "Voyage à Nantes" (VAN) night.

All entrance tickets are valid for a whole day. Visitors can leave the museum and return to continue their visit.
One ticket is valid to access both the permanent collections and temporary exhibitions.
In oder to prepare your visit, you can buy your tickets in advance at the museum ticket office or at the online ticketing service.
Pass card
€15
Unlimited access to all the Nantes Métropole museums for 1 year: Musée d’arts de Nantes, Natural History Museum, Jules Verne Museum, Chronographe, Castle of the Dukes of Brittany.
Pass holders have direct access to exhibition spaces and do not have to queue at the ticket office, showing their Pass and a provide proof of identity to the control access.

Reservations for workshops, guided tours and concerts, as well as tickets, are available at our online ticketing service.
In order to reduce your waiting time on site, we advise you to come from 11am to 2pm or after 4.30pm.
