The museum & its collections
At the Musée d’arts de Nantes, nine centuries of visual arts, from the Middle Ages to today, interact throughout its spaces. The collections represent a fund of more than 14,000 works, 40% of which are modern and contemporary art. In an architecture that combines that of yesterday with that of today, the museum offers visitors a unique point of view on Western art and bold temporary exhibitions that have made the reputation of this great museum of the West.

The museum spaces
The Nantes Museum of Arts, completely renovated in 2017, is spread over three buildings which, through their architecture, reflect their respective eras: the Palace, the Oratory Chapel and the brand new Cube.
